If you want to join a team of passionate, energetic and dynamics individuals who are shaping and influencing the future of Sime Darby, you should consider applying for a scholarship. Yayasan Sime Darby sponsor promising young talent wishing to pursue their academic dreams in local or overseas universities.

This annual scholarship programme applies to high-flying, well-rounded candidates who wish to pursue pre-university (foundation) studies, undergraduate, or postgraduate studies locally and overseas.

Sime Darby invites qualified candidates to apply for education sponsorship to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at recognized universities commencing July 2009.

Requirements

SPM (minimum 7 A1s in subjects taken) AND any of the following:

  • STPM (CGPA of at least 3.5)
  • Local Matriculation / Diploma (CGPA of at least 3.5)
  • ‘A Level’ (minimum 3A)
  • Australian TER SAM / AUSMAT (minimum 90.0)
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (minimum 36.0)
  • International Canadian Pre-University (minimum 85%)
  • Individuals pursuing their first or second year undergraduate studies must have latest academic result of at least 2nd class upper division

Please note that as Yayasan Sime Darby only accept online applications, it is important that the application steps are completed correctly in order for them to receive your submission. Please be aware that under certain conditions (slow or intermittent internet connection, peak usage hours), their website may return error messages. In the case of power outage during your application, you may have to refill and resubmit the online form.

    Ya boleh kerana anda mendapat 3.58 kerana minima 3.50, pastikan anda juga mendapat A1 dalam 7 matapelajaran peringkat SPM.

    Saya rasa tentu ada cuma anda perlu buat mendapatkan maklumat pihak yang ada menawarkan biasiswa seumpamanya. Saya cadangkan anda cuba dapatkan maklumat ini daripada cawangan Monash di Malaysia.

    Ya, biasanya permohonan biasiswa Sime Darby dibuka pada bulan Februari/ Mar setiap tahun.

    saya pelajar lepasan matrikulasi. Adakah ditawarkan apa-apa yayasan untuk pelajar dari perak yang berjaya melanjutkan pengajian ke universiti?
    maksud saya, tanpa pembayaran semula.

    Mereka yang sedang menuntut di IPTA dan IPTS terpilih boleh memohon biasiswa PIDN sila rujuk Tawaran Biasiswa JPA Pengajian Dalam Negara Sesi 2009/2010 tetapi memerlukan CGPA 3.50.
    Walaupun begitu sila semak di kategori Pinjaman dan Biasiswa mungkin ada yang anda layak untuk memohon.

    i am going to complete my pre-U program this november(2009).
    I did not manage to get 7A 1 for my spm.am i still eligible to apply for a scholarship by using my pre u results?

    sy dah masuk u dan terlepas utk memohon biasiswa sime darby pd thn ini.sy belaja dalam bidang pertanian, bolehkah sy memohon biasiswa sime darby menggunakan keputusan matrikulasi sy pd thn hadapan?
